The University of Crete will implement a fast-track training program in the profession of tour guide, from March 7 to May 2, 2024, at its facilities in Rethymnon and Heraklion.
The program is being implemented with the support of the Department of History and Archaeology through the Center of Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM). The Scientific Coordinator of the program is Ms. Nena Galanidou, Professor of the Department of History and Archaeology.
It is aimed at graduates of departments of Archaeology, History, History and Archaeology, History of Archaeology and Social Anthropology, History of Archaeology and Management of Cultural Assets and History and Ethnology from universities in Greece and recognized universities abroad.
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a license from the Ministry of Tourism to practice the profession of tour guide.
