The Center of Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of the University of Crete is included in the Registry of Training Providers of the Program for the action "Retraining and upgrading skills in the tourism sector," which is implemented through the Recovery and Resilience Fund and the Ministry of Tourism.
Those who are eligible to participate are:
- Seasonal workers in tourism businesses
- Long-term or temporary unemployed in the tourism sector who are registered in the DYPA registry
- Employees in any business who were employed in tourism businesses whose contracts were suspended in 2020 and/or 2021
- Have at least 200 stamps in the last 10 years in the tourism sector or a related specialty.
Applications can be submitted until November 22nd 2024

- Reception services and digital skills
- Travel Agency Executive
- Catering and food hygiene & safety
- Cooking and pastry arts
- Housekeeping services and environmental management
- Outdoor recreational activities facilitator
- Balneotherapy/thalassotherapy services - SPA
Successful completion leads to:
- a Certificate of Attendance & Certification from KEDIVIM of the University of Crete
- a training allowance of €1,250 for Phase A
