The University of Crete closely follows the coronavirus situation and the instructions provided by the National Public Health Organization.
To this date, the University of Crete accepts incoming students for the winter and spring semester, provided that they follow the safety measures and country-specific instructions provided by the EU, as well as the advice for travelers in Greece.
A 7-day self-quarantine is obligatory after your arrival in Crete, and before your orientation day.

Masks are mandatory in all indoor and outdoor spaces at both campuses of the University of Crete, and a 2m physical distance is required when visiting our offices (only by appointment!) and on all social occasions.
Incoming students of medicine that will do a traineeship at the University Hospital are required to bring a negative viral test from a certified lab upon arrival.
